Living Our Vision and Mission

In the spirit of delivering upon the Vision and Mission, SacMuszac Entertainment Group, Inc. and two time Grammy Nominated Group and R&B Music Hall Of Fame Inductee, The Ohio Players, have developed a strategic partnership to create concerts that will enable granting of scholarships to music majors at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the country.

The Ohio Players was formed in Dayton, Ohio in 1959 as The Ohio Untouchables. The first recording as The Ohio Players was in 1967. It was under the Mercury Records label with new drummer, James “Diamond” Williams, and keyboardist William “Billy” Beck that the two U.S. hits, Fire (1974) and Love Roller Coaster (1975), were recorded. Both hits topped the Soul and Pop charts.

JClaude Williams of SacMuszac Entertainment Group, Inc. has shared the stage and recorded with Billy Beck and Rick Ward of The Ohio Players. Overtime, JClaude was introduced to James “Diamond” Williams where he shared the company’s concept. James “Diamond“ Williams has been the head of The Ohio Players since 1982. The goal of this partnership is to provide scholarships that will help support the next generation of instrumentalist, music producers and music teachers. SacMuszac Entertainment Group, Inc. and The Ohio Players would like for the recipient/recipients of the scholarship/scholarships to take a verbal pledge upon receiving the scholarship, which would state that they would come back upon their success and help another student.

The inaugural event will be held on June 29, 2019 at the Von Braun Civic Center Concert Hall in Huntsville, AL with scholarships going to deserving music majors at Alabama A&M University.
